Day 1 - In Prague. Check-in to a modern *** comfortable hotel in the city centre. By day, a walking tour of the historic city centre, including all the main sites. Evening at the Black Light Theatre or Folk Evening with Dinner in traditional Czech beer restaurant.
Day 2 - A morning tour of the city followed by a good lunch. Afternoon departure for Brno, the second city of CZ, and then to Mikulov, a small historical town with a Jewish heritage, and the centre of the Moravian wine district. Overnight in Mikulov, with a wine tasting in hotel restaurant.
Day 3 - After breakfast, depart for Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia, which sits on the River Danube. A short walking tour includes a visit to the Castle. Then on to Budapest, where our self catering accommodation will be in large luxurious apartment rooms with all facilities.
Day 4 - A city tour on foot and in our coach includes a visit to Buda castle, Hero's Square, Parliament building, Fishermen's Bastion, St Matthias Church and an optional cruise on the Danube.
Day 5 - Return to Prague via Szentendre, a charming small town with a Mediterranean atmosphere on the Danube, and overnight stay in the hotel as on Day 1.

Day 1 - You will leave Prague for Konopiste Chateau. Before WWI it was the seat of the Austrian heir to the throne Franz Ferdinand de Este. You will be guided through representative rooms and will enjoy the rich collections of art, weapons and hunt trophies. Drive on to the south to visit Tabor - a short walking tour through this historical Town linked with the Hussite movement in the 15th century will follow. Depart for Ceske Budejovice - the capital of South Bohemia - proud of its unique market square. Break for lunch. Depart to Cesky Krumlov - "the pearl of the Renaissance" - also registered on the UNESCO list. You will be surprised by its preserved historical core which was terribly by the flood in 2002, but you will not notice it any more. Dinner in a special local restaurant available. Overnight in Cesky Krumlov.
Day 2 - Visit the castle in Cesky Krumlov. Departure to Trebon - a charming little spa town located in the area of many lakes and fishponds. A short walking tour. Drive on to Jindrichuv Hradec - another town with a Renaissance chateau and a beautiful centre. Telc will be the last destination of this day. The town is located in Southeast Bohemia and is also on the UNESCO list. For its square with gabled houses and Renaissance Chateau. Overnight in Telc.
Day 3 - Visit the chateau of Telc. Departure to Trebic - a smaller town linked with the history of the large Jewish community there. Then ahead to Brno - the capital of Moravia. A short walking tour. Overnight in Brno.
Day 4 - Depart from Brno to Moravian Karst - a special place where you will be guided through the caves and admire the formation of stalagmites and stalactites, then enjoy an exciting boat ride on the subterranean river Punkva. You also will see the Macocha Abyss. Lunch break. Depart to Kutna Hora - the UNESCO listed town which used to be the 2nd richest town in Bohemia (after Prague) due to its prosperous silver mining. You will admire the impressive Cathedral of St. Barbara and enjoy a short walk through the historical town. Drive back to Prague.

This full day tour offers a visit of the capital of Saxony, located on the River Elbe about 150km northwest from Prague. As the royal residence of the Kings of Saxony, the city has preserved its cultural and artistic splendour.The bombing of Dresden in the WWII and 40 years in Soviet bloc, has changed the face of the city broadly. Since the German reunification in 1990 and after restauration works all the demages were removed and the town emerged in its previous glory again. The most significant attraction are the Frauenkirche Church, Zwinger Gallery (Raphael?s" Sistine Madonna"), Semper Opera House and the Royal Palace.
